I think there's a mistake here. This not the terminal anymore, because jeeps just stop wherever they want and thus, the made the thoroughfares their "terminal"!

  • New World Hotel Makati City, chuck in st paul (guest) wrote 14 years ago:
We go through Makati every year on the way to visit relatives. We try to stay at some one other hotel on the way in just for experimenting but we ALWAYS stay at the New World on the way out because we know what a great place it is. If it's in your budget, stay on the club floor(s). You get breakfast, all day coffee and soft drinks, and evening "snack" and adult beverages that will often fill you up. The club has an outstanding view of Manila/Makati. As for things to do, you are surrounded by fun shopping and dining. Between the Greenbelt complex, Landmark, the amazing Glorietta, and all the many other stores you can truly shop 'til you drop. There's plenty of daytime fast food from McD's to Shakeys Pizza, noodle shops, Filipino style, etc., etc. Oh yes, lest I forget, the staff at New World is world class. They deserve a plug from this tourist because they really are so great.
